Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day!!

So you will have to forgive my video....half of it is just half of my face. I was trying to tape it myself and I must have moved into the camera while taping. Also, it is hard to do a Rayality alone...to try and just talk and talk with no one playing off your conversation. When I played it back, I almost didn't post it, but I didn't want to take the time to make another one. I think I am going to count how many times I said "Uhm" - but that serves me right for the times I have sat in a church service or at other public speaking events and counted how many times the speaker said certain words or made certain facial expressions, etc.

P.S. My whole video would not download, so it cut off with 2 minutes left - oh well.

Here are a few books I've been reading:

Don't Bet Against Me by Deanna Favre - fun to read during the week of the NFL playoffs when Green Bay was still in it.

Out of Sync by Lance Bass - Was curious to see what Lance wrote about his Christian upbringing and his Gay lifestyle and how his parents reacted and his church, but I was disappointed that there wasn't more information that would enlighten me on my quest to minister to those struggling with homosexuality.

Seek God For the City - Excellent daily devotional and prayer guide for the Lenten season.

Movies I've seen:
Fool's Gold: Kate and Matthew are cute together, but far fetched and a little long for a romantic comedy. I really want to see a GOOD movie!

Television viewing:

Not much since the writers strike...but watching American Idol with Ashley, it is better now that they are finished with auditions.

I'm watching Project Runway - Sweet P is gone and Chris will probably win.

LOVE Friday Night Lights

And...today's Oprah was good, but what is going on with her and the New Age stuff she is going to teach? Why can't she just stick to entertainment??

AND...I am not even going to talk politics - Good Lord, lots of opinions out there, I think this is the first time my Dad and I don't agree.

Love you all! Let me hear from you...

Trisha
